David C. Utz Award

Excellence in Urological Advancement and Innovation

Dr. Utz was Professor of Urology at the Mayo Medical School, and a consultant in the Department of Urology at the Mayo Clinic from 1957 to 1988. He holds an M.D. degree form St. Louis University School of Medicine and an M.S. degree in Urology from the University of Minnesota. Dr. Utz has served in many medical and professional urological associations and received numerous prestigious awards in the field of urology. Many current and past MUS members have benefited from Dr. Utz's leadership and dedication to teaching.
